Conflict explores the history and culture of the Australian military and how it has affected the evolution of civilian fashion, especially in times of conflict. Through the use of small details such as collars, buttons and colour, this collection evokes the structure of military culture, combined with flowing fabrics, transformative lines and a playful collaboration of gendered garments.
Hannah Stack is an aspiring fashion designer who takes inspiration from the way our environment affects fashion trends. In this collection, she has explored how subtle design features are strongly associated with a subculture of society and how their use can insight certain emotions.
