Form explores the idea of the posthuman by building sculptural garments that marry with the human body to reshape it into new forms. It uses textured materials and a muted colour palette to emphasise these new shapes. The collection treats the body as a site of change, done so with an austere, architectonic sensibility.
Amy is the designer behind the graduate collection, Form. Her collection explores shape by building sculptural garments which marry with the human body to create new forms. This year she experimented with new patternmaking techniques to create structured silhouettes, and constructing one-off hats by hand.
