Throughout history, there has always being an idea of socialised power and control throughout society, which is apparent in what we wear. We’re divided from others and dictated to wear certain garments that may portray our gender to appeal to these rules of what we can and can’t wear. Restrictive gender roles and sexism became apparent in multiple movements throughout history, which began to break those boundaries that still exist today. This collection, while not removing these implications of gender, will instead merge them together to create emotive silhouettes.
